Managing Customer Support in Giveaway Gator
This guide will walk you through managing customer inquiries and checking entries in the app. Follow these steps to ensure everything runs smoothly:

How do I find active promotions?
Navigate to the Giveaway Gator app from your Shopify dashboard. Once it loads, you’ll see a list of all your active promotions.
How can I look up a customer’s entry?
- In the app, go to the title of the promotion you want to manage.
- Click the Entries button.
- Use the search bar to look up the customer by their email address or order number.
- Select the relevant order to view details, including:
- Order number and date.
- The amount purchased.
- Their total entries for the order and any additional bonuses.
Where can I see bonus entries?
If the customer earned bonuses, such as for using a discount code or meeting an order threshold, these will be listed under their order details. For example:
- An Order Bonus might be awarded for orders over a certain amount (e.g., 250 bonus entries for spending $50 or more).
- A Discount Code Bonus applies if the customer used an eligible promo code.
What should I do if a customer’s entries seem incorrect?
Use the Resync button available in the app. This will update the customer’s entries to match the most recent data from the promotion settings.
